Tengen Tetris on eBay

I was scouring eBay this morning for some gaming deals and came across this lot of NES carts that includes a copy of Tengen Tetris. For those that aren’t aware, Tengen Tetris is pretty rare as it was only on stores shelves for a brief period of time. Since Nintendo had the licensing rights for Tetris on the NES, a court ruled that Tengen had to stop distribution of the game and destroy any remaining copies.

Based on the Atari coin-op version, Tengen Tetris is noted for its excellent gameplay and two-player mode. It’s a good NES game and one that any serious collector should consider owning.
