EA’s reboot of Syndicate is the latest and greatest PlayStation 3 shooter. Just like the 1993 original, Syndicate places you in a dark, not-so-distant future where corporations rule the world. As EuroCorp agent Miles Kilo, you’ll conduct assassinations and perform surveillance missions for your employer. The game boasts sharp, 1080p graphics, which makes every dark alley confrontation and office building shootout look great. The sound effects are loud and crisp and some top-notch voice acting from Brian Cox and Rosario Dawson help set the mood for the game. While Syndicate looks and sounds good, Kilo’s DART 6 implant is the star of the game. It allows you to slow down time, increase your armor, hack into turrets, and dismember enemies with the push of a button. Of course, you can always do things the old fashioned way and shoot them in the head with your sniper rifle or burn them up with your trusty flamethrower.
As you can see, Syndicate is a sharp-looking, Sci-Fi shooter that’s plenty of fun. It’s one of the better releases for the PS3 and it’s on sale right now for the special sale price of $56.99 – and free shipping is included. But hurry, this deal won’t last long.
