Released in 1991, SimCity was one of the
original launch titles for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. A port of
the PC classic, SimCity for the SNES let console players try their hand and
building and managing a virtual city. The gameplay is simple
enough. You start out with an empty piece of land and some money, which you use
to purchase plots, power plants, and stadiums. As your city quickly grows,
