Gears
of War 3 is one of the best shooters available for the Xbox 360. The
single-player mode provides an engrossing story and tons of satisfying
cover-based combat. But it’s the multiplayer aspect of Gears of War 3 that
really shines. The campaign has options for two-player splitscreen and four-player
online co-op; there are also competitive match modes like Capture the Leader, Execution,
and Team Deathmatch. The game sports a nice mix of achievements
and unlockables and there are several
DLC packs you can purchase to extend the life of the game.
