If you’re a lucky TurboDuo owner, then you should
own a copy of Lords of
Thunder. It’s an awesome shooter with terrific rock tunes,
colorful graphics, and some beastly bosses. The premise of the game is simple. You
play as Landis, a kick-ass protector who dons different suits of armor, including
Fire Armor and Water Armor. Each armor type has its own unique power and is
more effective against certain enemies. Over the course of the game, you’ll
have to deal with a constant swarm of enemies, a number of environmental
hazards, and the aforementioned bosses. While the game can get a bit difficult
at times, you’ll be able to purchase power-ups with the gems you collect during
play. This provides the game with a balance and keeps you from getting frustrated.
Lords of Thunder is relatively short, but that’s OK. It’s so fun and addictive
that you’ll want to pop it in your Duo just to give it another go.
