Buy a Brand New Copy of Resistance: Burning Skies for $25

If you’re a fan of the Resistance series, then you’ll love Resistance: Burning Skies for the Sony PlayStation Vita. Built from the ground up, this latest Resistance title features responsive gameplay, touchscreen and touchpad controls, and online multiplayer play.

The game’s campaign features an all-new storyline that focuses on New York City firefighter Tom Riley. Using familiar weapons like the Augur and the Bullseye, you’ll fight your way through six action-packed levels taking down crawlers, grims, and other Chimeran nasties.

Since the Vita only has a single set of triggers, Resistance: Burning Skies uses a number of neat, new mechanics to help you slay your alien foes. Axe swings are performed with a simple tap of an on-screen icon while grenades are thrown with a swipe of your finger. These new controls are extremely intuitive and work well, even during frantic battles.

Once you’ve finished Burning Skies’ single-player campaign, you can jump online for some eight-player multiplayer action. There are three different modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Survival. The latter is an exciting, last-man standing match that pits humans versus Chimera.

Resistance: Burning Skies normally retails for $39.99. But eBay seller provodad is selling it for $25 shipped. That’s a heck of a deal for a AAA title, but supplies are extremely limited.

Purchase Used South Park Video Games from eBay

South Park has entertained television viewers for more than 15 years with its raunchy jokes, colorful characters, and politically incorrect humor. Its won awards; spawned a big screen movie; and seen a number of video game releases. Unfortunately, the majority of the South Park games are pretty weak, plagued by lackluster gameplay, graphics, and sound. Some of the games, like the old South Park first-person shooter, are more playable than the others. But all of the South Park games, even the bad ones, do a nice job of capturing the show’s unique humor and charm. If you’re a big fan of Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny, then you might just want to check out some of these old South Park video games.

The first South Park video game was a first-person shooter released back in 1998 for the Nintendo 64, Sony PlayStation, and Windows PC. The game’s plot centers on a green comet that’s turned the town’s turkeys into vicious monsters. Playing as one of the boys, you’ll be able to take down turkeys and tanks with a variety of weapons, including snowballs, dodge balls, and NERF guns. The graphics are rather simple looking, just like the TV show. All of the characters are instantly recognizable and voiced by the show’s creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone. South Park’s gameplay is rather basic. You’ll run through cabins, caves, and snow-covered fields shooting objects and weapons at endless masses of mad turkeys. While South Park breaks things up a bit with some boss battles, the game can feel rather dull and repetitive after a while. Fortunately, the game also features a competitive multiplayer mode that lets you fight against your friends.

South Park: Chef’s Luv Shack is a game show-themed game for the N64, Sega Dreamcast, Sony PlayStation, and Windows PC. Playing as Stan, Kyle, Cartman, or Kenny, you’ll answer trivia questions and compete in arcade-style mini-games. Naturally, Chef’s Luv Shack is loaded with lots of South Park humor, so you’ll be answering questions from categories like “Mighty Hermaphrodite” and “Sucks, Or Canadian?” Up to four players can compete against one another, making Chef’s Luv Shack an ideal party game. However, the game has a small pool of questions, which means that you’ll run into repeats rather quickly.

On the surface, South Park Rally looks like it has all the makings for an entertaining and fun kart-based racer. It features a large roster of South Park characters; outrageous weapons like kittens and hookers; and a number of hilarious sound bites. However, South Park Rally’s task-based gameplay and slippery controls make the game feel like a chore. In fact, after just a few races, you’ll likely find yourself screaming “Shenanigans!” It’s easily the worst of the three Acclaim South Park video games.

Have some laughs and some fun. Buy yourself some cheap, used South Park video games from eBay today.
