Sega Rally Revo Delivers Arcade Racing Action on the Cheap
If you like simple, arcade-style racers like Cruis’n USA and Daytona USA,
then you’ll enjoy Sega Rally Revo. It’s an older racing game for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 that’s
affordable, but fun.
Sega Rally Revo provides a terrific sense of speed as you race
around impressive looking rally tracks that deform in real-time; and the 30-plus
vehicles, which include the Ford
Focus RS and Subaru Impreza WRX STi, also look nice, shiny, and incredibly
detailed. Sega Rally Revo sounds great, too. The navigator provides clear,
turn-by-turn instructions; the car engines sound amazingly authentic; and the rock soundtrack is
top-notch.
The heart of Sega Rally Revo is its championship mode, a series
of races that increase in difficulty as you progress. Of course, Revo also
offers online and
split-screen modes that allow you to race against your friends. And there’s
also a time attack feature that lets you compare your best race times with
other gamers.
As mentioned, Sega Rally Revo is relatively cheap. A used
