Pick Up Shoot ‘Em Up Raiden III for Cheap

Raiden III is an old school, bare bones shoot ‘em up. It doesn’t have fancy graphics or any crazy gimmicks. But it’s a solid, pick-up-and-play shooter that can be played solo or with a friend. Best of all, it can be had for cheap. Right now, it’s on sale for just $5.99 on the PlayStation Store and used copies for the PS2 go for around $7.

If you’re a fan of old school shmups, then you should definitely give Raiden III a try. While it isn’t in the same league as Gradius V or R-Type Final, it’s quite challenging and it features some terrific techno music to boot.

Enjoy some arcade shooting action. Purchase a used copy of Raiden III for the PS2 or pick up a PlayStation Network card and purchase the downloadable version from the PSN store before the sale ends.
